In my previous post, I highlighted the importance of working smarter. One man sent me a message saying "I don't need no stinking Fortune Key to create my business". My answer? Yes, he's right, but let me rephrase what he said. You don't need Fortune Key to create a mediocre business that eats up 90% of your time and for profits that people only laugh about. I know it sounds a bit harsh, but if there are opportunities to improve your business and make your life easier, there is no reason to diss a good product.
Businesses have been built way before the Fortune Key method was established, so in most part, it's alright to say that you don't need the method to get you started. However, if you want to have an efficient business process (e.g. less work, more results) then you need to at least try the method that the Fortune Key is recommending. I have seen many companies used the system and they are growing and expanding like crazy. It's the big businesses like Dell, McDonald's, and Intel who got first dibs at these methods when they were looking for ways to save on costs. The result was an efficient system that took most of the workload off the shoulders of the owners.
Now, wouldn't you like to use that method in your own business? I think you would.

Working Smarter Beats Working Harder All The Time
If you can get a job done in 8 hours (that's 1 work day), that's a good thing. But if you can do the same job in half the time, then that's very impressive. See, that's the difference between working harder and working smarter. Hardwork is not bad at all, but if you can find a way to deliver results in half the time, then you are saving yourself from unnecessary stress. Getting things done doesn't mean you end up exhausted and beaten at the end of day. Accomplishing a job means should mean that you have the rest of the day to enjoy. Even more so if you are juggling 2 to 3 jobs just to make ends meet.
Proponents of "working smarter" suggests that you prioritize what needs to be done and delegate those that are not a matter of life and death. Different work activities require different methods to accomplish them. Before you start your day, list down the things that needs to be done and prioritize them. If you need to rank them from 1 to 10 (1 being the top priority), then do so. This is one way of gauging what can be done today and what can wait for the next day or so. Clearly, the workload doesn't have to be too heavy. When it becomes to burdensome, then you should accept that there is a flaw in the system. Don't blame yourself for that hiccup. It's not your fault the system sucks. But instead of breaking your back doing everything at the same time, learn to prioritize. If your boss doesn't know how to do this, you have to tell him or her in the most subtle way possible.
I reckon if something is not a matter of life and death, it can wait. But of course, that's not how businesses operate, especially in customer service. But what the message I'm trying to impart is that if you work smarter, you will find yourself having a lot of extra time in your hands to do things that matter more to you. Work is not your life. You deserve a break once in a while.
When people go into online business (or any other business), they start to go crazy and work even longer hours. That's not what owning a business is all about. Now, if you want a business method that will allow you to work smarter and not harder, The Fortune Key is one of your options. If you ask me, it's probably the best there is around. McDonald's and Dell use the system and look at them now. You don't have to be in the big league to access this valuable information. In fact, if you are one of the small guys in the business, you will certainly benefit from The Fortune Key methods. If you think it's worth it, click here.

When 3 Part Time Jobs Are Not Enough
Would you rather have one full time job or 3 part time work at home jobs? This is a tough one to answer. I have been in both scenarios and I can honestly say that working at home has a bit more advantage than having to work in an office. However, if you find yourself with 3 part time jobs just to have the same salary as you would in an office job, common sense tells you that you're better off with 1 full time job. I have discussed the disadvantages of working at home and if you are more inclined to do the things in the list, then you have no reason to stay at home and work your butt off. But then again, the decision is really yours. Just make sure that the one you choose is the lesser evil.
Before I used the Fortune Key method in my online business, I was juggling 3 work at home jobs. I was writing for 3 different companies. I was spending more than 8 hours doing all three. I was better off having my full time 9 to 5 job. But I still control my schedule, which is the best thing that came out of my decision to work at home. The thing is that even with 3 part time jobs, it seems I still am not satisfied. With the effort I am putting on these jobs, I was always left exhausted. Sure, the money is there, but I don't get to enjoy them. I may be a bit workaholic, but the point is, the three jobs don't earn me enough money if I base it on my efforts. A 16-hour workday is equal to two shifts. So, I should be paid double, but I wasn't. It wasn't a fair set-up. I can choose to cut down on my working hours, but I will be missing out on the opportunities.
At that point, I knew that I was not working smarter. I was working harder. So, when the opportunity to create an online business surfaced, I grabbed it, put the wheels in motion and voila! I easily gave up 2 part time jobs. This is not because I was gonna use the time to supervise my business, no way. I used that time to go out and have some fun. All because the Fortune Key system worked for my business. If it works for me, it will definitely work for you. Learn more about it at the Fortune Key website.

An Online Business Needs To Have A Proven System
You'd be surprised to know that there are many people who start their online business without a plan. If they do have a plan, chances are they don't have a system that works for them. In fact, those that start their onlone businesses using ebay or craigslist do most of the jobs by themselves. It's only when they start to earn a little more profit that they start to automote things and hire people to do some of the legwork.
Take the case of my first online toy shop. I set it up by myself. That meant buying all the items, keeping inventory, packing/mailing/shipping, notifying and updating the customers. Oh, I have to even go to the post to see if the checks arrived (paypal isn't that popular back then) and I have to go to the bank to deposit them. It didn't take too long for me to feel the burn. It was exhausting, to say the least. Fortunately, the growth of the Internet prompted changes that made it very easy for online merchants to conduct business. The shopping cart, easy payment systems, and inventory tracking allowed me to automate most of the processes. I eventually made use of a dependable courier service so I could cut down my involvement in the legwork. Of course, all these automation and third party service were eating a portion of my profits. Let's face it, convenience is not cheap. Was the additional costs worth it? Yes it is. But sometimes I wonder if there is a way to cut down on costs even more.
It took me a few more years to find a better system. It cut down much of my operating costs plus I didn't have to spend all my day supervising. My headache was gone. I get to spend more time to do things that matter more. To know more about the system I used, click here.

Less Work, More Family Time - It's Possible
When I was an employee of a huge financial data company, all I dream about is to work at the comforts of my home and do the things that I love to do. It was a dream tha stayed as a dream for 10 years. It was when I started doing some online gigs that I began to have some free time. Real free time. When I say real, I'm talking about 4 hours of free time each day, over and above the 8 hours of sleep and few more hours for doing household chores. This is serious free time. And to do what? Anything!
With all the free time I had, I was able to finish my culinary studies. It's not something you can do if you are tied up at work. Of course this didn't happen overnight. It took quite some time before I finally got these much needed free time. in fact, had I not used this new business system, I don't think i will be able to do anything substantial other than my 9 to 5 job. The beauty of the system is that it requires less supervision. The key is to learn the methods and you'll be up and running in no time. This system has worked for huge corporations but nobody thought it could work for little businesses that you and I have, or dream of. It has done its job for the big guys but it works even more for the small guys. Read more about it here.

Enjoy Yourself With The Fortune Key
My neighbour always crank up the volume of his radio every Sunday morning so everyone would hear old songs that he enjoyed listening to when he was a kid. Just this morning, I was awaken by the words:
It is a very old song (ancient would best describe it). It's one hell of a catchy song but, but what really strikes me is the lyrics. It has a simple message but it will make you think about the way you live your life.
Here's the rest of the lyrics
I guess it's time for you to enjoy yourself. Maybe The Fortune Key can help.
Enjoy yourself, it's later than you think.
Enjoy yourself, while you're still in the pink.
The years go by, as quickly as a wink.
Enjoy yourself, Enjoy yourself,
It's later than you think.

Here's the rest of the lyrics
You work and work
For years and years
You're always on the go.
You never take a minute off,
Too busy making dough.
Someday, you say, you'll have your fun
When you're a millioniare.
Imagine all the fun you'll have
In some old rocking-chair.
Enjoy yourself, it's later than you think.
Enjoy yourself, while you're still in the pink.
The years go by, as quickly as a wink.
Enjoy yourself, Enjoy yourself
It's later than you think.
You're gonna take that ocean trip
No matter come what may.
You got your reservations
But you just can't get away.
Next year, for sure, you'll see the world,
You'll really get around;
But how far can you travel
When you're six feet underground?
Enjoy yourself, it's later than you think.
Enjoy yourself, while you're still in the pink.
The years go by, as quickly a as wink.
Enjoy yourself, Enjoy yourself
It's later than you think.
Get out and see the world...
You worry when the weather's cold,
You worry when it's hot.
You worry when you're doing well,
You worry when you're doing not.
It's worry, worry all of the time,
You don't know how to laugh.
They'll think of something funny
When they write your epitaph.
Enjoy yourself, it's later than you think.
Enjoy yourself, while you're still in the pink.
The years go by, as quickly as wink.
Enjoy yourself, Enjoy yourself
It's later than you think.
I guess it's time for you to enjoy yourself. Maybe The Fortune Key can help.

The Fortune Key: Revolutionizing Your Online Business System
I've said many times over that The Fortune Key has quite an impressive system that allows you to spend less time on your business without losing profits. In fact, it allows you to have more time to focus on your core business and have fun doing other activities that matter to you. This is quite an extraordinary proposition that Leon Hill (the author) is talking about in the Fortune Key.
I find the method revolutionary because it is something that not all businesses have utilised. Those who have made use of the system has profited from it in a major way. Companies like Dell, Chevron, and McDonald's have been making use of the system and it helped them to cut down on costs and increase their profitability. They are living testament that the system and methodology works.
The thing that you have to keep in mind here is that The Fortune Key method not only works on huge corporations, but can also work for little guys like us. Even those who are slowly making money using Craiglist and ebay.com. Find out more about the system here.
