There are tons of work-at-home opportunities online. In fact, there are so many opportunities that you cannot decide which one to take. But whatever you choose, one thing will spell the difference between failure and success, and that is commitment. Some of opportunities like The Fortune Key will not require 8 hours of your time per day, but you still have to invest time in order for your online business to work. The more you commit to the endeavour, the higher your success rate will be.
I have started doing online work/business in 2001, but only went full time in 2006. That's a good 5 year run before I decided it's time to give up a 9 to 5 job. It wasn't easy because my commitment is on shaky ground. Everytime I came close to failing, I would give up and go on to the next opportunity. I didn't want to be there and watch everything collapse. But as you know, everytime you move from one program to another, you incur costs and you invest more time learning new ideas and concepts. In the end, the results were not what you had expected.
A business, whether online or offline, will have it's cycle. It is natural to have a downturn after a peak. It's not always a happy day. This cycle is even more pronounced if you are operating a home-based business or you are working at home. If you work at home, you see the daily results (whether earnings or lack of it) and you worry that the future is bleak. Some people just throw in the towel even at the slightest downturn.
If you finally decide to work at home, you better have a solid commitment to stay in the business. Results at the initial stage of the business will probably give you more reason to leave rather than stay. When you are faced with this kind of situation, STAY IN THE BUSINESS. Learn the cycle and plan your next move. You should be flexible enough to keep up with the changes in the way online businesses are managed. You need to stay in the business long enough to see if it fails or succeed. Don't give up early in the game. Commitment is key.
